KFC Hunger Strike

The latest seeding campaign we undertook for BBH on behalf of their client KFC was a great success. The target for a 6 week campaign was to reach 125,000 game plays for the game Hunger Strike developed by Naked Penguin Boy, but over the course of the campaign we achieved 1.5 million game plays.

The game was left live on certain sites after the end of the campaign and. to date, this game has been played more than 6.9 million times and has had more than 3.8 million Unique Visitors.

With the catch phrase “Får du nok?”, which roughly translates into “Do you get enough?”, T-Viral, in cooperation with Unilever DK, has launched a game in the old tycoon style. The player needs to take control of 4 fruit stands and make money in a competitive environment. We got 4 well-known Danish actors to do the voice overs to make it even more fun!

The results were impressive to say the least, and independent research showed that people who had played the game were 40% more likely to trial the product than people who had been subjected to the rest of the integrated campaign across TV, print and outdoor.
